Reed Diffusers use fibrous rods (reeds) to soak up a mixture of fragrance and base to evaporate a fragrance into the air (diffusion). These are ideal for rooms where open flames from wax burners and candles may pose a fire risk, or if you wish to set something up and enjoy fragrance without frequent management. Flip the reeds once every few days, and you’ll have a consistent background scent that last for weeks on end.

Contains: Fibre Reed x8, Glass Diffuser Bottle x1, Diffuser Fluid ~ 100ml, Bottle Bung x1, Bottle Screw Cap x1

Instructions for use:

Unscrew the cap on the diffuser bottle. Carefully remove the bung in the bottle; it may be quite tight, so if necessary use a thin, flat object for leverage. DO NOT use any sharp or hard objects such as cutlery, as you may injure yourself or damage the diffuser bottle. Screw the cap back on once bung is removed. Then, dip one end of the reeds in the fragrance, then flip them rounds and drop them into the bottle so that the dipped ends are sticking out from the bottle. This gives off fragrance quickly and allows the reeds to better transport the fragrance from the bottle into the air.

Reed diffusers contain a mixture of chemical bases and fragrance oils. They should NEVER be consumed. If any is consumed, seek medical attention immediately. The chemicals in the substances may also cause skin irritation and allerigic reactions. If the substance does get on your skin, wash off with cold water and hand soap. If irritation or a reaction occurs, seek medical attention. If the substance gets in the eyes, seek medical attention. Keep diffusers out of reach of pets and children.

Additional notes:

The base allows the fragrance to evaporate fully, and helps the oil drift through the air without leaving oily stains on walls and nearby furniture. The base we use is mande from renewable materials and has no metallic tinge, which is typical of many synthetic bases.
